What should I expect?
You will be greeted with warm friendly smiles any time that you come. Between the classic style of the towering stained glass windows and the rustic beauty of the hand-carved wooden pews (with ample pew padding!)… between the surround sound speakers and the digital recording for web-casting… our sanctuary wonderfully blends the traditional with the contemporary.
Where do I go when I arrive?
The main entrance for Sunday mornings is on Market Street with a handicap ramp located on the North side of the building (far left of the front of the church). The office entrance is located in the Education/ Office addition on E. North Park Pl. adjacent to the Central Park.
Where should I park?
LUMC is situated right on the center green of beautiful Loudonville. There is adjacent street parking available around this central area and surrounding the church. Overflow parking is also available across the street from the church, at the gracious invitation of the Snyder Funeral Home, Lindsey Chapel.
What should I wear?
You are invited to wear what you would like. Typically, comfortable casual clothing is what people wear to the church.
Is there Sunday School?
There is Elementary and Nursery Sunday school that begins at 10am each Sunday.
Do you have Children's Church / Nursery?
Infants and toddlers are such a welcome presence in our sanctuary! We do want your whole family to feel welcome in our church, but we do know that it isn’t always easy to be able to be in worship with a little one. Please know that all children are more than welcome in our Sanctuary during the worship service. Our Nursery is available for infants and there is also a large play area for younger toddlers. Parents are more than welcome to watch their kiddos in the play area- and with our connected audio system- still be able to listen to the service.
How do I join the church?

I have limited mobility, what's the accessibility?
The church has handicap parking and has wheelchair accessible entrances for both the Educational/Office wing and the Sanctuary. The Office/Education wing entrance is ground level and faces the center green, with handicap parking readily available. The Sanctuary has several entrances, with the Handicap/Wheelchair ramp to the far left of the main entrance off Market Street, with handicap parking near the ramp.
